President: BERNARD ELWOOD BOONE, JR., MD
Joe Sircus, who was a member of the Brooklyn Chapter, encouraged the Richmond men to join with this elite social group. Richmond men listened and were installed in the home of Sonny Cephas in May, 1937. The first social event sponsored by this chapter was at Johnson's Hall. Over the course of time the chapter entertained at "Slaughter's" Market Inn, and then to Williamsburg and Broad Street. Richmond was the 5th chapter in the National Guardsmen Association.
