President: HERBERT J. THOMAS, JR.
The New Jersey Chapter was sponsored by Manhattan and was installed by the National Officers on October 12,1957 at Teddy's Lounge in Newark. James R. Cowan spearheaded the concept and was considered founder, and became the first president of the chapter. The Chapter's first entertainment was in September 1959, at the Hollywood Hotel in Long Branch, New Jersey.
