| The Boston Chapter was organized in 1961 in the home of Johnny Parnell, who spearheaded the project of joining the Guardsmen organization. Ivan Fraser spoke on behalf of the Boston men and the chapter was installed in June 1962 in a hotel at Logan Airport. The chapter's first entertainment after the installation was at the Mayflower Hotel near Plymouth, Massachusetts. The first president was Lincoln Pope. |
